Construction continues on Dorton Park as the concrete curbing and sidewalks have been installed as part of the parking lot expansion. The Afton Run stream restoration is nearing complettion and was put to the test in early September as Tropical Storm Debby came through Concord bringing heavy rainfall. We're still awaiting permits for the Coddle Creek portion of the stream restoration project but anticipate beginning the bidding process soon.

The tennis courts have been paved and the multi-purpose field renovation continues. The restroom expansion is nearing completion as trim and epoxy floors were installed this month.
